More about Grahams
Who is Graham’s Natural Alternatives?
Grahams Natural Alternatives is a brand based out of Melbourne, Australia. They create natural skin care products to treat conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. They are a family-run brand which was borne out of personal experiences with eczema.
Eczema is a complex skin condition and it was only after seeing every doctor and dermatologist in the area that it was obvious that something new had to be created.
The products had to be anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and effectively hydrate and moisturise any dry and itchy skin.
The first product developed was the C+ Eczema Cream to relieve Eczema and Dermatitis. They then created Grahams Bath Oil which has gone on to be one of the most popular and effective Body & Bath Oils on the market to date.
Through a range of clinical studies, Grahams found that these conditions were also caused by internal factors.
The Benefits of Natural Products for Eczema
If you suffer from a skin condition such as eczema, you’ll know how tricky it can be to find the right treatment to help alleviate it. A lot of conditions can lead to itchy blisters and bleeding which is why it’s important to use natural solutions and not just temporary relief. A lot of products contain chemicals which have toxic ingredients that can exhaust the skin over time. These can often do more harm.
A lot of chemical products often contain steroids which only work to momentarily suppress eczema symptoms. The toxins in the body causing the symptoms are only stopped being produced temporarily.
Chemical products can also cause:
- Thinning of the skin - Steroids can weaken cell tissues causing more skin damage.
- Can cause addiction - Due to their quick, instant relief, chemical products can be addictive to use as a treatment if not used carefully. The skin needs stronger and bigger doses as it slowly becomes more tolerant of the chemicals.
- Allergic reactions - a lot of chemical products aren’t suitable. It’s a good idea to check with a healthcare professional before using any.
Natural treatments for Eczema
Eczema has a misconception that it’s incurable. Some companies which produce natural medicine for eczema believe that it can be curable through a change in dietary habits. Eczema is a complex skin condition that may require more than just applying a cream to help control the redness, inflammation and dryness. Always consult your health care professional.
Once the top 2 layers of the skin dry out then the extreme dryness and intense itching. To hydrate the skin you can use the Grahams Body & Bath oil daily. The bath oil contains 100% oils and contains no aqua to make sure that it penetrates deep into the skin. You can also use the body & bath oil throughout the day on your skin if more hydration is required.
Using the C+ Eczema cream you can help to control the red and inflamed areas. This helps to prevent the urge to itch, which can cause the infection and bacteria to spread. The Grahams C+ Eczema Cream acts as a protective barrier to help defn the skin against irritants to retain moisture for up to 6 hours.
The main aim is to keep the skin moist. You are more likely to itch at dry skin. It’s best to stay clear of triggers (such as any allergies) to avoid this being an issue as much as possible. Following a healthy diet is also very important, making sure to fuel your body with as natural ingredients as possible.

Graham’s Natural Alternatives for Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic vascular disorder affecting the facial skin and eyes; often is characterised by a chronic cycle of remission and flare.
There is no known cure for this disease so so management of it is key here. The facial skin of rosacea sufferers is often hyperirritable. A lot of skincare ingredients have been known to trigger this such as (ethanol) alcohol, witch hazel, fragrance, menthol, peppermint, eucalyptus oil; each of these is volatile agents that are likely to strip important oils and cause moisture loss in the skin. Other reports indicate that benzyl alcohol (a known skin irritant) contributes to irritation and flare-up.
Grahams Rosacea cream is a natural, low irritant emollient cream to provide moisture and alleviate affected areas. The cream is a clinically proven formula which helps to soothe the skin for rosacea sufferers.
As soon as you receive the Rosacea Cream place the cream in the fridge, the cream then remains cool on the skin.
