Online Consultation Process

Buying medication for common ailments couldn't be simpler. Being a fully regulated pharmacy we work closely with GPs to have processes in place for online consultations. In essence, this means that in order to purchase items listed in our clinic you will be required to fill out a form. This will then be confidently reviewed by one of our pharmacists, following guidance from a GP, for the purpose of determining if the medication or treatment is suitable for your situation. This whole process is called a Patient Group Direction(PGD) and we explain it in more detail in this article: What is a PGD?

The process

  2. Select the product you wish to undergo an assessment for and place it in your basket.
  3. Proceed to the checkout, where you will be required to fill out a from related to the selected product.
  4. Check out as usual
  5. Out pharmacist team will review your response and if deemed suitable process the order and send it to you.

Is the medication available without a prescription?

In short, yes. Our service includes a private consultation, enabling our qualified pharmacists to dispense prescription-only medications following a thorough clinical assessment, bypassing the need for a traditional doctor's prescription. This process is fully compliant with healthcare regulations, ensuring safe and responsible access to medications.

What happens after I submit the assessment form?

Your form will be evaluated by one of our pharmacists trained in providing private consultation services. If necessary, they will contact you to discuss your responses and any further steps.

Why is my phone number required?

For the dispensation of certain medications without a traditional prescription, we may conduct consultations via phone or video call. This ensures the medication is appropriate for you and allows you to discuss any concerns directly with a pharmacist.

How private is the consultation?

We uphold the strictest standards of patient confidentiality. Both your assessment form and any consultations are confidential, ensuring your privacy throughout the process.

Is there a fee for the consultation?

The price listed for each treatment includes the consultation fee. There are no additional charges for the consultation service.
