- Other ingredients: Colloidal silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, modified food starch, sucrose, sodium ascorbate, medium chain triglycerides, silicon dioxide, DL-alpha-tocopherol, pregelatinized starch, hypromellose, polydextrose, acacia, talc, titanium dioxide, iron oxide yellow, iron oxide red.
Orange capsule-shaped film-coated tablets in bottles of 112 or 224 tablets.
Usage and Instructions

- Adults, elderly, and children over 12 years: Swallow 2 caplets twice daily (morning and evening).
- Children under 12: Do not use.
If you take more than you should
Contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately or go to the nearest hospital, taking the pack with you.
If you forget to take your dose
Take it as soon as possible and continue as normal. Do not double the dose.
If you stop taking Adcal-D3 Caplets
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before stopping.

Do not take Adcal-D3 Caplets if:
- You are allergic to calcium carbonate, vitamin D3, or any other ingredients in this medicine (listed in section 6).
- You have higher than normal levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcaemia).
- You have severe kidney failure.
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Adcal-D3 Caplets if you:
- Have osteoporosis due to long-term inactivity.
- Have kidney problems, such as kidney stones.
- Have higher than normal levels of calcium in your urine (hypercalciuria).
- Have sarcoidosis.
- Have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars.
- Are taking any other medication, including non-prescription medicines.
Other medicines and Adcal-D3 Caplets
Inform your doctor if you are taking:
- Calcium supplements or antacids
- Digitalis drugs (e.g., Lanoxin)
- Diuretics or corticosteroids
- Thyroxine, bisphosphonates, iron or fluoride medicines, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics
Leave a 4-hour gap between taking these medicines and Adcal-D3 Caplets.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Use only under medical supervision. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
Adcal-D3 Caplets with food
Avoid taking within 2 hours of consuming foods rich in oxalic acid (e.g., spinach), phosphate (e.g., bran), or phytic acid (e.g., whole cereals).

Frequency not known:
- Allergic reactions (itching, wheezing, rash, swelling of tongue or throat). Seek medical attention immediately.

- Constipation, wind, nausea, stomach ache, diarrhoea
- Skin rash
- Hypercalcaemia or hypercalciuria
Long-term treatment may require monitoring of calcium levels in blood and urine.
