Benadryl Allergy Children's 6+ 1mg/ml Oral Solution is an antihistamine for children which works to relieve the symptoms of hay fever and other allergic conditions such as pet, skin or dust allergies in children.

Symptoms of allergic conditions include: itchy, runny nose; sneezing; itchy, watery eyes; and Urticaria (hives & itchy skin rash).

Ingredients

The active ingredient of this Benadryl syrup is Cetirizine Dihydrochloride. There's 1mg of this active ingredient per 1ml of the syrup, so each 5ml of Benadryl for kids contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride 5mg.

Usage and Instructions

Children under 6 years:

This Benadryl syrup isn't recommended for children under 6 years old.

Children aged 6 - 12 years:

For children between the age of 6 and 12, the dosage of this children’s antihistamine should be one 5ml spoonful of children’s Benadryl in the morning, and one 5ml spoonful in the evening.

Children aged 12 and over:

The children’s Benadryl dosage for kids over 12 years old is two 5ml spoonfuls to be taken once a day.
