• unusually tired

These symptoms can be a sign of milk alkali syndrome (sometimes called Burnetts syndrome) and needs treating immediately

Common side effects (around 1 in 10 people may experience this)

• large amounts of calcium in your urine (with large doses)

Rare side effects (around 1 in 1000 people may experience this)

• feeling sick
• stomach ache
• constipation
• diarrhoea
• wind
• heartburn

Very rare side effects (up to 1 in 10,000 people may experience this)

• skin rash or hives
• itching
