Usage and Instructions
To replace a lost filling, wash your hands first, then rinse out the cavity with warm water. Don't dry the cavity, but leave it moist. Use the applicator to remove a small amount of material from the vial, form it into a ball with your fingers and press it firmly into the cavity.
Next, scrape the material off your finger by scraping your finger along the edge of the tooth. Don't lift your finger straight up as this might loosen the material in the cavity.
Bite down several times to insure proper bite. Remove any excess material, and rinse your mouth out well. Allow two hours for the filling repair to set before eating.
To re-cement loose caps or crowns, wash your hands first. Prepare the crown by carefully removing as much old cement as possible from inside the crown. Rinse well. Clean and rinse the tooth area with water and leave it moist.
Fit the crown back on the tooth before applying the new material. Make sure it fits properly. If you cannot do this, don't proceed and see your dentist.
If it fits properly, use the applicator to remove a small amount of material from the vial. Place a very small amount of material along the inside edge of the open end of the crown. Place the crown on the wet tooth and press it firmly.
Bite down several times to insure a proper fit. If the bite is not completely comfortable, remove and repeat all steps until the crown feels normal. Remove any excess material and rinse your mouth with water. Allow at least two hours for it to set before eating.
To replace a bridge, you can use Dentemp Loose Cap and Lost Filling Repair, however, it should not be used on implants or posts without first getting a dentist's advice.
