How does Chlorhexidine work?

Chlorhexidine fights germs by sticking to teeth and gums. It works for hours to lower plaque and ease gum issues. Regular rinsing leads to cleaner gums and fresher breath.

Are there any side effects?

Some users may see slight stains on teeth or tongue. These stains often fade after stopping use. Avoid tea, coffee, and wine right after rinsing. If you have dental work, ask a dentist first.

How long does one bottle last?

A 200ml bottle lasts about 10 days with two daily uses. This follows the 10ml per rinse guide. Use based on dental advice.

Adults over 16: Brush teeth first and rinse the mouth with undiluted mouthwash. Rinse thoroughly between teeth and well with water. To open squeeze the cap and turn. Half fill the cap gums for up to 60 seconds, then spit out. Use up to twice daily.

Do not swallow the mouthwash.

Not suitable for persons under 16.

Store in a cool dry place.

Do not freeze.

Keep out of reach of children.

Avoid contact with eyes.

If product gets into eyes rinse well with water immediately.

With prolonged use the tongue, teeth or fillings may become discoloured. This is temporary and will disappear if you stop using the mouthwash. In extreme cases a scale and polish may be required to remove staining of teeth. Avoid tannin containing foods or drinks such as tea, coffee or wine for an hour after rinsing to avoid dental staining. The use of stain-removing toothpastes is therefore recommended while using this mouthwash.

Do not use this product for longer than one month unless advised by your dentist or hygienist.

If you experience a rash or swelling of the mouth or face or have difficulty breathing then stop using the mouthwash immediately and seek medical attention. These may be symptoms of a rare allergic reaction.
