Usage and Instructions

To take your temperature orally, place the thermometer under your tongue. Close your mouth and breathe evenly.

To take your temperature under your armpit, wipe it dry and keep your arm pressed firmly down. Beware, this is a less accurate method of taking your temperate as it takes place outside the body.

For rectal use, lubricate the silver probe tip with petroleum jelly. Gently insert the tip 1cm into the rectum. If you feel any pain or discomfort, stop immediately and seek alternative methods.

To keep your thermometer clean, wipe with a soft clean cloth. If stubborn stains persist, slightly dampen a cloth and use this to wipe the probe. Use another cloth to dry it.
