Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Paracetamol 1000.00 mg/Sachet, Phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.20 mg/Sachet.

Other ingredients: Sodium citrate, Citric acid anhydrous, Blackcurrant flavour, Aspartame, Saccharin sodium, Pulverised sucrose, Caster sugar, Ascorbic acid, Enocyanin.

Usage and Instructions

To use Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Blackcurrant Sachets:

Pour the contents of one sachet into a mug.
Fill the mug with hot, but not boiling, water.
Stir until the powder is dissolved.
Sweeten to taste with sugar, honey, or your usual sweetener if preferred.
Adults, the elderly, and children 16 years and over can take one sachet every 4-6 hours.
Do not take more than 4 sachets in 24 hours.
Do not give to children under 16 years of age.

You have phenylketonuria (PKU), due to the aspartame content in the sachets.
You are on a low salt diet, considering the significant sodium content in the medicine.
You are using flucloxacillin or have conditions like severe renal impairment, sepsis, malnutrition, or chronic alcoholism, which can increase the risk of metabolic acidosis when combined with paracetamol.

You have a serious heart condition
You have high blood pressure (hypertension) or an overactive thyroid
You are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a medicine called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), usually used to treat depression.
You are taking other sympathomimetic decongestants
You have an enlarged prostate
You have Phaeochromocytoma
You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
