Ingredients
Each Migraleve Pink tablet contains:
- Paracetamol DC 96% 520 mg (equivalent to Paracetamol 500 mg)
- Codeine phosphate 8 mg
- Buclizine hydrochloride 6.25 mg
Each Migraleve Yellow tablet contains:
- Paracetamol DC 96% 520 mg (equivalent to Paracetamol 500 mg)
- Codeine phosphate 8 mg
Usage and Instructions
Adults and children aged 16 years and over
Take 2 Migraleve Pink tablets as soon as a migraine attack begins. If the migraine persists, take 2 Migraleve Yellow tablets 4 hours after the Pink dose and then every 4 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets (2 Pink and 6 Yellow) in a 24-hour period.
Children aged 12 to 15 years
Take 1 Migraleve Pink Tablet at the first sign of a migraine attack. If the migraine persists, take 1 Migraleve Yellow tablet 4 hours after the Pink dose and then every 4 hours. Do not take more than 4 tablets (1 Pink and 3 Yellow) in a 24-hour period.
Children under 12 years
This product is not suitable for children under 12, due to the risk of severe breathing problems.
If the symptoms persist for more than 3 days or get worse, stop use and consult a doctor.
Warnings
Do not use Migraleve Complete if you are allergic to paracetamol, codeine, or any of the other listed ingredients. This medicine can make you sleepy or dizzy, so do not drive until you know how it affects you.
This medicine contains codeine and can cause addiction if you take it continuously for more than three days. You may get withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you think you are suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

Side Effects
Migraleve can have side-effects, like all medicines, although these don’t affect everyone and are usually mild.
Possible side effects include:
- Allergic reactions, e.g. swelling of the face, difficulty swallowing, shortness of breath, skin rash
- Becoming unusually tired, unexplained bruising or bleeding, more infections than usual
- Serious skin reactions, e.g. blisters, rash, reddening
- Signs of codeine toxicity, e.g. confusion, shallow breathing, extreme sleepiness
- Feeling sick, sleepiness
- Headache
- Reddening or flushing of the face
- Constipation, being sick, dry mouth
- Dizziness, increased sweating
- Feeling happy
- Rash
- Acute inflammation of the pancreas in those who have had their gall bladder removed
- Addiction or withdrawal symptoms, e.g. tremors, sweating, increased heart rate, feeling or being sick
- Difficulty passing urine
