Permethrin Cream is a treatment for scabies that can also be used to treat pubic lice. It can be used on children aged 2 and up, making it a suitable treatment for all the family.

Usage and Instructions
To use Lyclear Dermal Cream to treat scabies, you simply need to apply the cream to cool, dry skin in the affected area. Apply in a thin layer all over the body. If your head and face are not affected by scabies, you do not need to apply the treatment there. Be sure to cover hard to reach areas, such as the areas between the fingers and toes, beneath finger and toenails, wrists, elbows, armpits, external genitalia and buttocks.
Do not take a hot bath or shower immediately before treatment.
Adults and children over the age of 12:
Children aged 6 – 12:
Apply up to 15g of cream (half of a 30g tube)
Children aged 2 months – 5 years:
Apply up to 7.5g of cream (one quarter of a 30g tube)
To use this product to treat crab lice in adults, use up to one 30g tube of cream. Check facial hair and eyelashes for lice and lice eggs before treatment.
Remove any live lice or eggs before treatment begins. Apply to all facial hair, carefully avoiding eyes and eyelashes.

Side effects of permethrin include:
- Mild and transient burning and stinging.
- Itching.
- Skin redness.
- Skin swelling.

- Numbness or tingling where the medicine was applied.
- Scabies symptoms may temporarily worsen after treatment.
