Usage and Instructions

Adults can take 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed to relieve discomfort. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours
Children aged 16-18 years can take 1-2 tablets every 6 hours as needed to relieve discomfort. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours
Children aged 12-15 years can take 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed to relieve discomfort. Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours
Warnings
Please read leaflet before use.
Do not take this product if:
- You're taking any other products containing paracetamol
- You've had another painkiller within the last 4 hours
- You are sensitive to paracetamol or codeine
This product is not suitable for children below 12 years of age.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not use this product for more than three days consecutively. Codeine can cause addiction if you take it continuously for more than three days.
If any of the following statements apply to you, speak to your doctor before trying this product:
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding
- You're taking drugs prescribed for depression (MAOIs)
- You're taking metoclopramide or domperidone for nausea and vomiting
- You're taking colestyramine – used to treat high cholesterol
- You have severe liver or kidney disease
- You're taking anti-coagulants
- You're taking a painkiller on a daily basis over a long period
Side Effects

There are some side effects associated with this product, although not everyone will get them. Some symptoms associated with Solpadeine Max include constipation, nausea, or allergic reactions, such as skin rash.
The codeine in this product can cause addiction if you take it for more than three days consecutively.
This medicine can also cause dizziness and drowsiness. If you feel like you're affected, you must not drive or operate machinery.
All of these side effects should go away once you stop taking the medicine but if you're concerned about any of these effects, or if Solpadeine Max affects you in any other way, stop taking it immediately and speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
