Rub Vicks VapoRub liberally on the chest, throat and back, covering the whole affected area for maximum effect. Wear loose clothes to allow vapours to be inhaled easily.

For children (infants and babies over 6 months), apply lightly to the chest and back and rub in gently.

Alternatively, you can use the inhalation method. Melt two teaspoons of Vicks VapoRub in very hot (but not boiling) water. Inhale the medicated vapours for 10-15 minutes.

Caution: Never reheat the mixture.
