Wartie Cool is an effective solution for treating warts and verrucas. It utilises the 'freeze' approach, akin to the cryotherapy method employed by healthcare professionals. Warts and verrucas, caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), are often small skin growths that can develop on various body parts including fingers, back of hands, knees, and elbows. Known for their rough, 'cauliflower-like' appearance, warts are highly contagious and can spread via direct contact.

Verrucas, similar to warts, exclusively appear on the soles of feet or underneath toes. Often painful, they're characterised by a small white ring of skin with black dots in the centre. Like warts, verrucas are contagious and can spread through contact with a damp surface, such as a floor.

How does Wartie Cool work?

Wartie Cool uses its unique precision tip to accurately freeze the wart or verruca to its core. This rounded cryo tip allows for a precise application that is limited to the wart or verruca, thereby protecting the surrounding healthy skin. This leads to a more comfortable application experience.

Following cryotherapy treatment, the treated area may turn white momentarily and later turn red as it thaws. The freezing process may cause a blister to form underneath the treated wart or verruca. Over the following 10 to 14 days, the wart or verruca should gradually fall off, revealing the healthy skin beneath. Most cases require only a single application for successful removal. However, should a second treatment be necessary, it's recommended to wait 14 days between applications. Ensure the metal tip returns to room temperature after each use (about 5 minutes) before using it again. In some instances, pre-soaking the wart in warm water can enhance the treatment's effectiveness, particularly for warts with a callused top layer.

Place the can on a table and hold the collar. Leaving the can on the table, turn the cone to position 1 & press down for 3 seconds. You will hear a hiss as the product is activated. Release the cone & it will return to position 0. Wait for 2 seconds for the tip to freeze. Apply the tip precisely onto the wart or verruca to freeze it. Apply for 20 seconds for a wart or 40 seconds for a verruca.
