Which conditions of symptoms can be treated with Duofilm Cutaneous Solution For Treatment Of Warts?
Duofilm Cutaneous Solution for Treatment Of Warts can be used to treat common warts, plantar warts, and flat warts on the skin. It can also be used to treat other skin conditions such as corns, calluses, and keratoses.
How does Duofilm work in the treatment of warts?
Duofilm operates using a dual-action approach. Firstly, it contains salicylic acid which targets keratin, a protein in the skin's upper layers. The breakdown of keratin facilitates the removal of wart-infected skin cells. Secondly, lactic acid softens the wart's skin, enabling the salicylic acid to infiltrate and dismantle the infected cells more efficiently.
How long does it typically take for Duofilm to effectively treat warts?
Duofilm's efficacy on warts is typically observed within a span of 12 weeks or three months. It's recommended to apply the product one to two times daily as necessary or as instructed by a healthcare professional.
