Secondly, lactic acid softens the wart's skin, enabling the salicylic acid to infiltrate and dismantle the infected cells more efficiently.

How long does it typically take for Duofilm to effectively treat warts?

Duofilm's efficacy on warts is typically observed within a span of 12 weeks or three months. It's recommended to apply the product one to two times daily as necessary or as instructed by a healthcare professional.

• The active substances are lactic acid 15.0% w/w and salicylic acid 16.7% w/w.

How to use Duofilm:

• Remove any plasters.
• Soak wart in warm water for five minutes.
• Dry the area with your own towel.
• Rub the top of wart carefully with a pumice stone or emery board.
• Then put on thin layer, enough Duofilm to cover the wart. Try not to get it on the normal skin around the wart.
• Let the Duofilm dry.
• Cover the wart with a plaster if it is large or on your foot.

Do not use Duofilm if:
