What are the service inclusion criteria?

Lansoprazole is suitable for a specific group of individuals who meet the following criteria:

1. Age Range: People from 18 years old.
2. GORD diagnosis: People who received their diagnosis of GORD after and endoscopy.
3. Uncomplicated GORD: People whose GORD does not show signs of underlying conditions or complications like oesophagitis.

Active ingredient: Lansoprazole 15mg.

Other ingredients: sugar spheres (sucrose, corn starch), povidone, sodium laurilsulfate, sodium starch glycolate (type A), trisodium phosphate, hypromellose, talc, methacrylic acid ethylacrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersion 30 per cent, triethyl citrate, titanium dioxide (E171).

• The capsule shells contain: gelatine, titanium dioxide (E171).
• The printing ink contains shellac, propylene glycol, ammonium hydroxide, potassium hydroxideblack iron oxide (E172)

Take one capsule daily, preferably in the morning. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water, at least 30 minutes before food.

• Allergies: Do not use if allergic to Lansoprazole or any of its ingredients.
• Medical Conditions: Inform your doctor if you have liver problems, osteoporosis, or low magnesium levels.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
• Interactions: May interact with medications such as warfarin, digoxin, and HIV protease inhibitors. Consult your doctor before use if taking other medications.

• Common Side Effects: Headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, and constipation.
• Serious Side Effects: Severe allergic reactions, liver problems, low magnesium levels, and osteoporosis-related fractures. Contact your doctor if you experience these.
• Rare Side Effects: Severe skin reactions, vitamin B12 deficiency, and subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE). Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms occur.
