Ingredients
Hydrocortisone acetate 10mg, Zinc oxide 296mg, Bismuth subgallate 59mg, Balsam Peru 49mg, Bismuth oxide 24mg and Benzyl benzoate 33mg per suppository.
Usage and Instructions
Adults and children over 18 years:
Wash the anal area and dry gently with a soft towel.
Remove one suppository from the plastic cover and insert as deeply into the back passage as possible.
Use at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement up to a maximum of 3 suppositories a day.
Do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days.
Children (under 18 years): Not recommended.
Warnings
Do not use Anusol Plus HC Suppositories:
If you have ever had a bad reaction to Anusol or any of its ingredients.
If you have fungal, viral or bacterial skin sores.
If you are under 18 years old.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Anusol Plus HC Suppositories:
If you have rectal bleeding or if you are in doubt whether any bleeding you have experienced is caused by piles.
If you are taking or using any other medicines, including corticosteroids (a type of anti-inflammatory drug e.g. hydrocortisone).
If you are pregnant.
Side Effects
Can cause sensitivity reactions such as a rash and mild irritation or burning on application
