Raspberry leaf has traditionally been used to support reproductive health and specifically to prepare for labour and childbirth. The NHS recommends you don't start drinking it until 32 weeks at the earliest. But at this point, drinking 3 cups a day has been linked in small scale research to reducing the second stage of labour and fewer interventions in birth.
HotTea Mama blends raspberry leaf with peppermint, bringing a refreshing brightness to the blend. This tea can also help aid digestion when you're very full of baby. If you're not pregnant, this tea can still support female health and wellbeing.

Ingredients: Peppermint, Raspberry Leaf.
Each pack contains 15 whole leaf tea bags. Each tea bag is 100% plastic-free and biodegradable, the inner bag that holds them is also biodegradable – it is derived from wood pulp and should be placed in your food compost bin. Please recycle the outer box!
Usage and Instructions
Recommended 1 cup a day from 32 weeks, 2 cups a day from 33 weeks, and then 3 cups a day from 34 weeks until your baby arrives.
Directions for use:
- Use 1 whole leaf tea bag, per 300ml cup
- Add freshly boiled water
- Brew for 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste
- Remove the bag from the cup, and keep in a small dish by your kettle
- Re-brew your bag, and just leave it in the cup for a little longer
- Relax and take a moment with your cuppa.
As each tea bag includes whole leaf tea, you can brew them 2-3 times to make up to 4 cups of tea, depending on your taste. We recommend using 1 whole leaf tea bag per 300ml of water. Use freshly boiled water and infuse for 3-5 minutes depending on your taste.
Not recommended adding milk, but a splash of honey is the perfect accompaniment if you have a sweet tooth.
