• Over The Counter (OTC)

Active Ingredients: macrogol 3350, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate.

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125ml of water and drink.

For faecal impaction, dissolve eight sachets in one litre of water and consume within six hours. Treatment should not exceed 3 days.

For chronic constipation, use for up to 14 days unless advised otherwise by a doctor.

Do not give this medicine to children below 12 years of age.

Moxalole can be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Do not take this if you have an obstruction in the intestine (gut), a perforated gut wall or severe inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis, Crohn´s disease, toxic megacolon or ileus.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. Some medicines, e.g. anti-epileptics may not work as effectively during use with Moxalole.

Common side effects include stomach pain, diarrhoea, and bloating. These are usually mild and temporary.
