- Gives lactose intolerant people the freedom to enjoy dairy products
Lacto Shield™ is a unique dietary enzyme that gives lactose intolerant people the freedom to enjoy dairy products such as milk, yoghurt and ice-cream.
Lacto Shield works at a low pH (3.5-5.5), effective for digesting lactose in the stomach and is an EU approved lactase enzyme for improving lactose digesting in individuals who have difficulty digesting lactose.
Lactose is a milk sugar, naturally present in dairy products.
Lactose intolerance is a digestive disorder caused by the inability to digest lactose, the main carbohydrate in dairy products. It can cause various symptoms, including bloating, diarrhea and abdominal cramps. People with lactose intolerance don't make enough of the enzyme lactase, which is needed to digest lactose. Acid lactase converts lactose into glucose and galactose.
Lacto Shield contains lactose enzyme which improves lactose digestion in individuals who have difficulty digesting lactose.
