Ingredients
Each 5ml spoonful of Syrup contains: Glycerol 0.75ml.
Other ingredients:
Liquid Maltitol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium benzoate, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Sodium citrate, Vanilla flavour, Blackcurrent flavour, Purified water
Usage and Instructions
Do not give to children under 3 months .
Children aged 3 months to under 1 year: One 5ml spoonful.
Children aged 1 year to 5 years old: Two 5ml spoonfuls.
Doses may be given 3 to 4 times daily by mouth as required. Allow 3 to 4 hours between doses.
Warnings
Do not give to babies under 3 months.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if your child has an intolerance to some sugars. This products contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
Maltitol may also have a mild laxative effect.
If anyone has taken too much of this product, contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty), taking this pack with you.
If you forget a dose, give the next dose when needed and do not give a double dose.
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days consult your doctor.
Side Effects
This medicine is unlikely to cause side-effects, unless your child is allergic to the ingredients.
If your child experiences any side-effects or you aren't sure about anything, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
