Tixylix Blackcurrant Syrup 100ml provides effective relief for children's dry coughs between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. Formulated with glycerol, this sugar-free and colour-free syrup offers a pleasant blackcurrant flavour that young ones will enjoy.
To help alleviate symptoms, keep the child warm, ensure adequate fluid intake, and maintain a well-ventilated bedroom without draughts or cold temperatures. The syrup comes with a measuring spoon for easy and accurate dosing.
Tixylix Blackcurrant Syrup 100ml not only soothes and relieves dry coughs but also contains 0.75ml glycerol per 5ml dose as an active ingredient, making it a suitable and effective choice for young children experiencing dry, tickly coughs.
Ingredients
Each 5ml spoonful of Syrup contains: Glycerol 0.75ml.
Usage and Instructions
Do not give to children under 3 months
3 months to under 1 year: One 5ml spoonful.
1 year to 5 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls.
Doses may be given 3 to 4 times daily by mouth as required. Allow 3 to 4 hours between doses.
Suitable for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Warnings
Do not give to babies under 3 months.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if your child has an intolerance to some sugars. This products contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
Maltitol may also have a mild laxative effect.
If anyone has taken too much of this product, contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty), taking this pack with you.
If you forget a dose, give the next dose when needed and do not give a double dose.
Side Effects
This medicine is unlikely to cause side-effects
unless your child is allergic to the ingredients.
